More about Organic Zinc

Who can use this product?

Those who are aware - through personal research or the advice of a health professional - that the use of Organic Zinc may have certain desired and/or beneficial effects on their health and wellbeing.

What is in the tablet?

Each tablet contains 125mg of Zinc gluconate, providing our body with 15mg of zinc

Are there any side effects associated with taking Zinc?

Zinc is relatively non toxic, however high doses can produce side effects. If side effects result, reduce the dosage. Too much zinc can give a need for other minerals, such as copper. It is advisable people stick to 15mg per day. If needing to take more, they should also take a multimineral complex to help "balance" these levels up.

Can I take Zinc with other supplements?

Yes you can. Bee pollen and EPO would be fine (and a good complementary product) to take with zinc or indeed any of the other products in our range.

What is the recommended daily dosage of Zinc?

The recommended daily amount (RDA) of zinc for men and women is 15mg per day.

At doses of 30-50mg a day, it is advisable to also take copper. Bee pollen contains trace amounts of copper, so this could help to balance these levels up.
